National Jonk Fuerscher Contest

Ages 11 – 21

The National Jonk Fuerscher Contest — organised annually since 1971 by the Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg — offers young science enthusiasts the opportunity to present their work to the Luxembourgish public in an internationally recognised competition, which further enables them to participate in prestigious competitions abroad.

The contest is aimed at students, who

  • are between the ages of 11 to 21

  • are a resident of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg or/and are enrolled in a school approved by the Ministry of National Education, Children and Youth

  • want to create a research and / or innovation project within the fields of science and / or technology

  • want to participate individually or in teams of up to 3 people.
