Mobisciences: Moroccan meetings for our young scientists!

Mobisciences Fez 2022, which took place in Morocco during 5 days of cultural programme and exhibition from 23 to 27 June 2022, welcomed our Jonk Fuerscher National Competition Winners.

For Morgan Csarno-Peklar, Arnit Dey and Punyabhalan Senthilkumar, it was an opportunity to present their scientific projects in a context of international exchange and cultural discovery.

During 5 days rich in emotion and sharing, the Luxembourg, Spanish and French delegations were able to present their ideas to their Moroccan counterparts and reflect on common projects while discovering the local cultural heritage.

Since March 2018, Mobisciences has enabled 180 young people per year from five Euro-Mediterranean countries, namely France, Spain, Morocco, Belgium and Luxembourg, to travel around Europe to take part in events celebrating science, to exchange ideas and practices on science and interculturality.

The objective of Mobisciences, an Erasmus+ project led by the Fondation Jeunes Scientifiques Luxembourg and in partnership with the four other countries, is to work towards the development of scientific culture among young people aged 12 to 25 through these exchanges.

In this context of celebration, favourable to sharing, our young people were able to make new friendships and discover the strong sense of Moroccan hospitality, to discover new scientific disciplines by visiting the Medina of Fez thanks to the visits of the Astrolabe Museums, of a craft school as well as of the Arsenal and by participating in many workshops of introduction to the Scratch language, to the Microbits system or brainstorming sessions to reduce the impact of CO2 pollution on the city of Fez.
